The City Center Livable Centers plan was produced for Central Atlanta Progress, Georgia State University, the Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta and the Historic District Development Corporation during the Summer and Fall of 2001 by the consultant team of EDAW, Inc., Day Wilburn and Associates, Inc. and Trinity Plus One Consultants, Inc.

The plan has received the following recognitions:

• Outstanding Innovative and Effective Planning Process, Georgia Planning Association, 2002
• American Society of Landscape Architects Honor Award in recognition of outstanding professional achievement, Tri-State Chapter, April 2002
