Outreach Coordinator,
Downtown Atlanta
Transportation Management Association

The Downtown Atlanta Transportation Management Association (TMA) provides a range of services to the Downtown community on transportation issues. Its ultimate goals are reducing traffic congestion, facilitating mobility, addressing parking demand, and improving air quality. The Downtown TMA currently works with employers and property owners in Downtown to address these transportation and workforce growth issues by developing and implementing commuter programs which include carpools, vanpools, transit, alternative work schedules, parking management and other services.

Central Atlanta Progress, Inc. and its affiliate, Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Inc., are private not-for-profit organizations that represent Downtown Atlanta businesses and property owners. They jointly are the parent organization that funds and directs the activities of the Downtown TMA.

Description:

The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for creating new marketing and outreach opportunities to increase participation in alternative commute programs. The Outreach Coordinator will coordinate and host a variety of meetings and events targeting Downtown employers and commuters. Additional responsibilities include educating the public and companies on area transportation services, and other tasks necessary to encourage Downtown's commuters to take advantage of alternative commute programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field required and a minimum of one year outside sales experience. The preferred candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Necessary skills include computer literacy, strong written and oral communication skills, client management skills, and a customer service-oriented demeanor.

Salary:
$36,000.00 with full benefits package.
