February 12, 2007 Raise a Pint at Atlanta's Largest St. Patrick's Day Festival
On Saturday, come watch the legendary, 126th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The 200-unit parade, including Irish singing, dancing, marching bands and more, begins at 12:00 PM on Peachtree Street. With spectators expected to exceed 250,000, this year’s parade will be the largest parade since it first began. After traveling through downtown Atlanta, the parade will end at Underground Atlanta where the festivities will continue well into the evening hours. This year visitors can take advantage of a special, no-hassle promotion designed by Underground Atlanta that includes discount parking for the entire day and a warm, Irish breakfast before walking to find a spot along the parade route. Come indulge yourself in this festive celebration while taking advantage of the wonderful retail shops and specialty carts, along with an assortment of restaurants and dining options, including Irish Bred and Pub. It will be a night of celebration in Kenny’s Alley, the only entertainment district in the city where drinks are poured until 4:00 AM * and patrons can stroll from club to club with drinks in hand. The luck of the Irish awaits you! |
