Winners of Walk There Challenge Announced

November 3, 2004

Downtown Atlanta Walk There Challenge
October 1-31, 2004

Walk There! Challenge, operated by the Downtown Transportation Management Association (TMA) , offers companies and employees a fun and easy way to compete with other Downtown businesses. During October, twenty-seven companies and over 700 participants were issued Walk There! kits, which included pedometers to track how many steps employees took. The goal of the challenge was to promote physical activity and increase awareness of walking as a form of transportation.

During the month of October individuals logged in over 27,456,225 steps! Gensler had the highest company average and won an in-office massage-based stress management program, featuring chair massages by Global Body Works.

Congratulations to all of our winners.
