Vanpool Formation Incentives
A vanpool is a group of commuters (7-15) who ride to and from work each day in a comfortable passenger van. Vanpools are organized by where you live and where you work, allowing you to ride with neighbors, friends and co-workers. The driver is a volunteer who lives or works near you, generally rides for free, and can use the van for their own personal use. Costs are divided among the group, and are determined by number of commute miles per month.

The Downtown TMA can assist vanpoolers by defraying the first year's costs.

Turner Vanpool Partnership Program
Beginning in March 2002, TBS instituted a first of its kind allowing non-TBS employees to join a company vanpool. These riders receive the first three months absolutely FREE through an incentive program at the Downtown TMA. Beginning the fourth month, the monthly cost is only $70.00, less than the average cost of downtown monthly parking.

Earn a Free Carwash
Every Month by Carpooling!
The Downtown TMA offers you the Carpool Carwash Rewards Program. This program will give eligible* carpools a gift certificate for a free carwash by All Points Mobile Detailing operating in the Hurt and SunTrust Parking Garages. Double your rewards by referring a carpool** and get a $25 gift card.

* Eligible carpools are those that carpool a minumum of 3 days per week on average, or 12 days per month. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, and carpool at least half of the distance of your commute to work.
** To be eligible for the carpool referral benefit, new carpools formed must carpool for at least 2 months.
