FASTPASS Wireless Internet
Atlanta FastPass is Atlanta’s city-wide high-speed wireless data network. It’s your ticket to wireless surfing in Woodruff Park. The high-speed Internet service for Atlanta FastPass is managed by Biltmore Communications, in partnership with the City of Atlanta, Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District. With connection speeds up to 50 times faster than dial-up service, you can quickly check your E-mail, surf the Web, or get everyday work done.

How do I join?
1. Bring any personal computer or personal digital assistant that is Wi-Fi enabled (802.11b/g) to Woodruff Park.

2. Set your PC/device to receive the Wi-Fi signal by ensuring that your SSID has been changed to FASTPASS. With Microsoft Windows XP and Apple Macintosh the set up process is automatic, though you may need to reboot your computer.

3. Launch your browser. If not automatically redirected, go to www.fastpass.net and click “Sign Up.” Fill out the required fields and click “Submit”.

Connection Tips
1. Use your “wireless client” to check for “Encryption disabled” and then set your network ID (SSID) to blank or “FASTPASS”.
2. Set your TCP/IP properties under “My Network Places” to enable for “obtain an IP automatically” and then disable the “winsock proxy” option.
3. Disable “use of proxy server” in your LAN connection settings under the browser’s tools menu set.
After making any changes you will have to disable and re-enable your LAN connection or reboot your computer. Need further assistance? Call Atlanta FastPass Customer Service at 404-961-7071.
