March 16,2012

The Atlanta Film Festival (ATLFF) rolls out the red carpet for a new tradition – a program called the Atlanta Gem Series. Rather than screening at a select number of traditional movie theatres in the city, the Atlanta Film Festival will branch out and present programming at Landmark Midtown and The Plaza, along with unique local venues including The Rialto, The Woodruff Arts Center, The Earl Smith Strand Theatre and The Goat Farm.

"John Portman: A Life of Building," is one of many outstanding films featured in the 2012 Atlanta Film Festival, and is sponsored by Central Atlanta Progress. Don't miss a screening of this acclaimed documentary on Monday, March 26.
