Atlanta Streetcar Announces Christmas and New Year’s Holiday Schedule

The Atlanta Streetcar will run modified schedules for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

On Thursday, December 24, the Streetcar will run its regular schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
On Friday, December 25, the Streetcar will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The Streetcar will resume normal weekend operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, and normal weekday hours of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28.

On Thursday, December 31, the Streetcar will run a modified schedule from 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to accommodate the large crowds expected to attend holiday events in the Downtown area.

On Friday, January 1, the Streetcar will resume operations from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The Streetcar will return to normal operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2.

More than 800,000 people have used the Atlanta Streetcar to visit restaurants, shops and Atlanta’s world-class tourist destinations, including the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center and Historic Site, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Georgia Aquarium, and the College Football Hall of Fame. All Atlanta residents are invited to make the Streetcar part of their holiday plans.
