Bridge Work to Require a Lane Closure on Peachtree Street Bridge

What: One lane will close on Peachtree Street over the I-75/I-85 Downtown Connecter from Pine Street to Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard/Ralph McGill Boulevard. The lane closure will allow Atlanta Downtown Improvement District to begin adding arches and barrier walls fence. Crews will also remove planters, install sidewalk detours, and pour barrier planters. This work will not require lane closures on the I-75/I-85 Downtown Connector.

When: 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday, October 12
9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 13
9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 14
9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Thursday, October 15
9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Friday, October 16

Where: Peachtree Street over the I-75/I-85 Downtown Connecter between Pine Street to Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard/Ralph McGill Boulevard.

Advisory:The lane closures are likely to result in delays. Motorists who travel in the area are advised to slow down and proceed with caution through this area. Workers and heavy equipment will be in close proximity to the roadway.
