CAP Launches Downtown for the Holidays Photo Contest

Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) is excited to announce the first-ever Downtown for the Holidays Photo Contest.  This contest will give locals a chance to show off all of the fun there is to be had in Downtown Atlanta during the holiday season.  The winning photographer will have their photo featured in CAP's award-winning Annual Report and Calendar and will receive a $200 gift card to Glenn's Kitchen and SkyLounge.  The winning photo will be used for the December month and the photographer will be given full credit in the Calendar.  You can check out the 2012 Annual Report and Calendar online here as an example of how your photo will be used.

How to enter the contest:
We are looking for photographs that show off Downtown Atlanta during the holiday season.  The photo should have been taken that since October 31, 2013 to ensure that the picture is current and timely. The photo should be 300dpi, sent as a high-res JPG or jpeg file, 3300 x 2550 minimum pixels and horizontal images are preferred. The contest will be held from November 15, 2013 - January 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM. To enter the contest, please visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/atlantadowntown.  Once you are on our Downtown Atlanta Facebook page click the "Photo Contest" button at the top of the page, next to the "About" section.  From there, click on "Enter" at the top of the page and then fill out the submission form.  Please note that you must like Downtown Atlanta's Facebook page in order to submit a photograph.  After completing the submission form, you will have the opportunity to share your photograph through your own Facebook and Twitter accounts so that all of your friends and fans can vote for you!  The ten photos that receive the most votes from viewers will be judged by CAP and Atlanta Magazine who will choose the Winner from the top ten.  You may submit more than one photo to the contest. How to cast your vote:
Once you are on our Downtown Atlanta Facebook click the "Photo Contest" button at the top of the page, next to the "About" section.  From there, click on "Vote" at the top of the page.  You must like Downtown Atlanta's Facebook page in order to vote.  If you have already "Liked" Downtown Atlanta's Facebook page, then the photos available for judging will automatically show.  If you don't already "Like" Downtown Atlanta's Facebook page, then a window to "Like" our page will pop up.  After clicking "Like", you may vote for your favorite photograph.  To vote for your favorite photo, click the "Like" button in the top left-hand corner of that particular photo.
