Cousins Properties Bike Share Program

August 16,2010

Cousins Properties continues its commitment to reducing congestion and air pollution in Downtown Atlanta with the recent implementation of a bike share program. The bike share program enables employees in the 191 Peachtree Tower and the American Cancer Society Center to reserve one of two bicycles for short trips during the day. This program provides increased mobility options for employees and adds flexibility for employees taking their lunch breaks, running errands or incorporating exercise into their workday, especially those who use alternative commute modes to get to work.

The Downtown Transportation Management Association (TMA) held a special kick-off event at the American Cancer Society Center to celebrate the new program. Employees were able to get information about the bike share program, see the bikes on display and enter a raffle to win prizes.

The Downtown TMA works to provide information on transportation options and incentives for employees in the Downtown area. For more information on commute alternatives please your company, please contact Crystal Clark at mailto:cclark@atlantadowntown.com.
