Dragon Goal USA and Sons of Pitches FC announce first in-town Atlanta pop-up soccer program

Dragon Goal USA and Sons of Pitches FC announce their first ever in-town Atlanta pop-up soccer program for the next 6 weeks. A preview of the program was successfully delivered last Wednesday in Woodruff Park where many citizens and players participated.
“The community was so intrigued to see our Dragon Goal set up in the middle of Woodruff Park, right next to the beautiful waterfall” said Nicola Vidali, managing director of Dragon Goal USA. “This is because our iconic infrastructure and soccer event format (filled with music and fast-action games) revitalizes urban communities by activating spaces, encouraging people to be active, play sports and making connections.”
This soccer initiative is produced in partnership with Sons of Pitches FC, a grassroots, fast-growing football club committed to bringing more opportunities to play soccer for our in-town residents and visitors.
Activations pop-up in about 60 minutes, engage the community for a couple of hours and smoothly disappear. Urban development agencies and municipal bodies such as the Atlanta Regional Commission, District 2 Atlanta, Central Atlanta Progress, and Buckhead CID are supporting this program that leads to the production of a rooftop soccer event to be held in the middle of September: “bringing soccer to higher levels” as stated by a media article written on the occasion of the producers’ first rooftop soccer event delivered last May.
