Early Voting Polls Show Surge in Unlikely Voters

July 27,2012

With three days to go, early voting data points to a surge at the ballot box by unlikely voters.  This confirms the initial assertion from the beginning – this transportation referendum has been and will be like no other election in history. The Untie Atlanta campaign made an early decision to engage non-traditional voters and the success of that strategy is evident in the early voting data. Momentum is building toward victory on July 31!  Click here to read more on voting trends.

Energy continues to increase daily with "Vote YES" endorsements. Creative Loafing, the Hispanic community and over 20 environmental organizations joined the Atlanta Business League in support of the transportation referendum.  These endorsements represent thousands of individuals who believe in the future of this region.  Click here for a new ad featuring real people voting YES for transportation.

TAKE ACTION NOW:

· Share the news about endorsements with your colleagues, employees and circles of influence!
· Attend and bring 5 colleagues/employees to the July 30th Press Conference to stand in support of the referendum with Governor Nathan Deal and Mayor Kasim Reed.  Details are attached.
· Pass out “Go Vote” flyers on Monday, July 30 between 4:30 and 6pm (if your building owner/manager will allow).  Flyer is attached for your use – note 4 flyers per sheet.

We hope you will join us to watch the Election Results with campaign supporters at the Marriott Marquis on July 31!
