Erica Qualls-Battey awarded the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2015 Most Admired CEO

Erica Qualls-Battey, General Manager of Atlanta Marriott Marquis, was recently awarded the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2015 Most Admired CEO in the hospitality category. By eschewing her formal title and instead referring to herself as "Chief Host" of this deluxe hotel in Downtown Atlanta, Qualls-Battey remains dedicated to creating outstanding experiences for both guests and staff.

Fifty nominees across 10 industry categories were nominated in May by Atlanta Business Chronicle readers and then voted upon in June. Nominees were selected based on their level of innovation in their respective fields, financial performance and commitment to diversity. Qualls-Battey was among four other CEOs recognized in the hospitality category and took home the Reader's Choice Award.

Qualls-Battey has served Atlanta Marriott Marquis with her commitment to quality service and strong vision within the industry. This is her second time in the past two years winning the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Most Admired CEO in the hospitality category. She has also received numerous awards internally, such as Marriott International General Manager of the Year, in both 2013 and 2014. Since she began her Marriott career in 1993, Qualls-Battey has been contributing to Atlanta Marriott Marquis' overall goal of providing exceptional customer satisfaction.
