Invest Atlanta has signed a lease to relocate its headquarters into 18,701 square feet at the Georgia-Pacific Center in Downtown Atlanta.

Bradley Fulkerson, a managing director in Cassidy Turley's Atlanta office, and April Hawkinson, an associate in the office, represented Invest Atlanta. Brooke Dewey and Jeff Frantz of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the owner in the transaction.

Cassidy Turley brokered the lease and donated its commission - more than $225,000 - back to Invest Atlanta, to help defray costs of the move.

Invest Atlanta signed its lease with GA-MET, a joint venture between Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Georgia-Pacific LLC that owns the tower.

Invest Atlanta's new space will be on the 29th floor of the 52-story pink-granite tower. Its new space will enable Invest Atlanta to showcase the city as it recruits new businesses and helps existing Atlanta businesses expand.

Invest Atlanta is slated to move in on Dec. 1. Carter's Interiors Group is donating design-management and construction-oversight services as the space is being readied for occupancy. VeenendaalCave is the interior designer.
