MAJOR RENOVATIONS PLANNED FOR DOWNTOWN’S 101 MARIETTA STREET

The building’s revamp is expected to be completed by Thanksgiving

Atlanta, GA (November 14, 2016) – Ownership of 101 Marietta Street, formerly known as Centennial Tower, announced today that they are completing major renovations to the well-known building.  Renovations are underway and slated for completion by Thanksgiving 2016.

101 Marietta Street is an iconic feature of Atlanta’s skyline. With an authentic Downtown location, 101 Marietta Street provides excellent access to public transportation, popular neighborhoods, universities, sports venues, parks, entertainment options and walkable dining and shopping locations. Owner The Dilweg Companies is creating an environment that caters to groups seeking to attract top talent.

The building will have front and back lobbies virtually connected by a larger than life video wall, and recaptured lobby space converted into collaborative workspaces. New onsite amenities will include “The Hub” complete with tenant lounge and gaming areas, a state-of-the-art conference/training space, and a renovated fitness center.

“This is a prime example of redefining how we work, injecting creativity and imagination into the lobby of an iconic space. Dilweg’s renovations will resonate with current employers’ goals of offering a workplace that fosters innovation and provides an engaging experience,” said Katherine Lynch of the CBRE leasing team. “This building will be an epicenter of energy.”

In addition to the lobby and onsite amenities, The Dilweg Companies has provided a full floor of move-in-ready office spaces with high-tech finishes and flexible floor plans.

”We are very excited to announce our renovation plans,” said Anthony Dilweg, CEO. “There has always been a landmark office building on this property since the early 1900s, and it has been known as 101 Marietta Street for most of its history. Our repositioning efforts connect the historical roots of Downtown to the evolving workplace needs of today.”
