Omni Hotel At CNN Center Partners With New College Football Hall Of Fame

Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta is launching a new partnership as the exclusive caterer at the new College Football Hall of Fame, scheduled to open in late August 2014. Overseen by Executive Chef Greg Wright, the convention hotel will spearhead food and beverage operations for the Hall's concession outlets and private events.

Guests can book their next event at the new College Football Hall of Fame through the Hall's dedicated event staff who will partner with the Omni Hotel at CNN Center to create a seamless booking and planning process. Not only will the hotel be a partner for the College Football Hall of Fame, which is newly transplanted from South Bend, Indiana, but it will also be the only hotel exclusively attached to the Hall via a modern new "Connector" for easy access between the two venues. The entire state-of-the-art, $66.5 million College Football Hall of Fame is expected to engage thousands of football fans with interactive and customized attractions based on guests' team affiliations.

The new facility is perfect for an enjoyable breakout meeting, as the interior of the Hall will feature a 45-yard indoor Playing Field to create out-of-the-box activities and team building contests. Events up to 900 people for sit down meals, to 1,450 for a reception, can be accommodated as well as smaller, intimate events in the Hall's Quad area. The quintessential venue for corporate meetings and presentations, the Hall features an ultra-high-definition theater with room for 150 people.

The Omni Hotel at CNN Center will offer a selection of customizable menus to match team loyalties. Sample menus range from food inspired by the Pac 12 conference that feature Anaheim Citrus-glazed melon with prosciutto, to a buffet inspired by the Big 10 with items including Wisconsin beer cheese soup and Chicago-style hot dogs.
