Student housing along Atlanta Streetcar route sells for $24 million

A downtown student housing project along The Atlanta Streetcar route has sold for $24 million.

Student Quarters, a division of St. Clair Holdings, paid $24.2 million for the 144-unit project known as 200 Edgewood, according to Fulton County property records.The seller was 200 Edgewood Associates LLC.

The student housing and mixed-use development sits along the Streetcar route at Sweet Auburn Curb Market. It’s also close to Georgia State University and Grady/Children’s Hospital Medical Complex.

Sanctuary Residential was the developer.

Two years ago, it broke ground on 200 Edgewood, which at the time was described as a $33 million mixed project. The development included 254 beds for students as well as medical interns and residents. The high-end, boutique student housing project was one of the first transit-oriented developments along the new Atlanta Streetcar line.
