January 28,2010

Boasting Over 90 Restaurants, Dining Downtown Attracts Visitors & Residents Throughout Metro Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA – Central Atlanta Progress proudly announced Wednesday that The Atlanta Link will sponsor the Downtown Dining District in 2010. The Downtown Dining District is the premier dining destination in the metro Atlanta region, with the most diversified culinary experiences available in the city. Currently, there are over 90 restaurants within the Downtown Dining District, and 27 premium members. The Atlanta Link is an exclusive shuttle service providing service from Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead to the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport along with other charter services.

“Downtown’s dining experience is second to none in the city,” says Lily Santander, General Manager of the Atlanta Link. “Partnering with the Downtown Dining District will not only help boast the great dining options Downtown but also drive even more of our customers to dine in Atlanta’s vibrant city center. We believe our visitors will want to come back to Atlanta and experience this high level of dining again.”

The Downtown Dining District was created in 2009 to highlight Downtown’s world class restaurant offerings. National brands like Il Mulino, BLT Steak, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse along with many others offer fare that cannot be found anywhere but Downtown Atlanta.
