The Children’s Museum of Atlanta Announces a Schedule Change

Based on member and visitor comments, The Children’s Museum of Atlanta has evaluated ways to ensure the best possible Museum floor experience. To accomplish this important goal, the Museum will be moving to a six day operating schedule effective August 14, 2013. Many museums across the country operate on a six day schedule to ensure that their museum is clean, safe, and operating well. CMA is choosing to close on Wednesdays during the off-season so that being closed will not impact families who typically use Fridays and Mondays to create a long weekend experience.

Museum hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closed Wednesdays mid-August through mid-June. Open Wednesdays during peak weeks during the holidays, spring, and summer.  Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day; open until 1:00 PM Christmas Eve.  Please check the Museum website to confirm hours of operation.

Admission is $12.75 plus tax for ages 1 – 100; children under 1 receive free admission.
