The MARTA Makeover Project Seeks Public Input on Preliminary Designs Ideas

Open forum review session looks to finalize design plans for Five Points and Garnett MARTA stations

The South Downtown MARTA Stations Makeover Project is pursuing public feedback on preliminary design elements to improve the appearance and experience at the Five Points and Garnett MARTA stations. Design concepts presented for consideration are the result of a series of interactive and online surveys conducted by the project team from mid-October through November 21.

Next week, at an open forum review session, MARTA riders and non-riders are encouraged to provide feedback and input on preliminary concepts that may be incorporated into the overall enhancement plans for the Five Points and Garnett MARTA rail stations. Several members of the project team will be present to conduct informal presentations throughout the four-hour window, sharing multiple preliminary station enhancement concepts for public feedback. It is anticipated that presentations and discussions will take approximately 30 minutes and attendees are encouraged to stop by at any time.
