Wednesday WindDown Concert Series Brings 26 Weeks of Live Music to Downtown Atlanta

April 8,2015

Wednesday WindDown, Atlanta’s longest running concert series, kicked off this past Wednesday with electrifying performances by old school hip-hop heavyweights Chubb Rock, Special Ed, MC Shan, Dana Dane, DJ Red Alert, and Greg N.I.C.E. of the group Nice & Smooth. The series opened to a sold-out crowd with new radio partner MAJIC 107.5/97.5. “Our partnership with MAJIC 107.5 made the season opener of Wednesday WindDown one of the most successful to date”, says Greg Knight, Senior Program Coordinator at Centennial Olympic Park. “We are grateful to our loyal attendees and fans that have supported the series over the years and we are excited to create more memorable experiences with them at Wednesday WindDown throughout this spring and summer.”

Wednesday WindDown is every Wednesday from April through September at 5:30 p.m. in the Southern Company Amphitheater. Upcoming artists include Erica Dawson Exclusive, Randy Skinner & the Skin-Tones in Pursuit, Jori, The PR Experience, Case, Rhonda Thomas, Calvin Richardson, and more.
