He is credited with writing 1,700 songs, was nominated for 18 Academy Awards, and was one of the founders of Capitol Records.  Join the Rialto Center in this musical celebration featuring renowned trumpeter Joe Gransden alongside The Color Purple’s Maria Howell, with the Georgia State University Jazz Band.
