Downtown Atlanta GA Image Gallery

Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District are proud to introduce a new holiday tradition. The Downtown Holiday Adventure is designed to showcase Downtown Atlanta attractions, entertainment venues and holiday activities to Metro Atlanta and visitors alike.

The 50 day promotion provides something for everyone—from outdoor ice-skating in Centennial Olympic Park, to a kickline from the world famous Radio City Music Hall Rockettes and the 50th annual production of the Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker.

November 14, 2009 – January 3, 2010 in Downtown Atlanta, easily accessed via MARTA, city streets and major highways

The holiday season is a stressful time for many families with traveling, shopping and bill paying. This year, start a new family tradition with nostalgic holiday performances, twinkling light displays, world class attractions and many other adventures.

Spend a wintry afternoon with the World of Coca-Cola’s Polar Bear or a few thousand fish at the Georgia Aquarium. Take a trolley ride with Mr. and Mrs. Claus or toot your own horn during Tuba Christmas at Underground Atlanta. Begin the adventure in YOUR Downtown.
