Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week Concludes Fourteenth Annual Event
Local restaurants united for annual culinary event July 23 - July 31
Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week, the longest-running Restaurant Week in Atlanta, celebrated another successful year of delicious dining in the heart of Atlanta. From Saturday, July 23 to Sunday, July 31, the nine-day culinary event featured over 30 new and returning restaurants throughout the neighborhood and their curated prix fixe menus, showcasing each eatery’s specific cuisine.
With its fourteenth year of participation concluded, Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week continued the tradition of promoting the area’s exceptional eateries by offering gourmet prix-fixe menus, ranging from $15, $25 or $35 for brunch, lunch and dinner options. Thousands of diners participated in the week-long dining adventure presented by Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) and indulged in Downtown’s finest dining hot spots.
This year’s participating restaurant list included locales such as Alma Cocina, BLT Steak, Braves All Star Grill, Café 458, Cuts Steakhouse, Der Biergarten, Fire of Brazil, Game X, Glenn's Kitchen, Hard Rock Café, Jalapeno Charlie's, J. P. Atlanta, Legal Sea Foods, Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery, Max's Coal Oven Pizzeria, McCormick & Schmick's, Morton's the Steakhouse - Downtown Atlanta, No Mas! Hacienda & Cantina, Polaris, Prime Meridian, Ray's in the City Seafood Restaurant, Soul Bar at Pal's Lounge, STATS, Sway, Ted's Montana Grill, Terrace Bistro at the Ellis Hotel, Thrive, Trader Vic's, Truva, Twenty-Two Storys, Twin Smokers BBQ and White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails.
CAP prefaced Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week with two tasting events hosted at Peachtree Center courtyard and 191 Peachtree Tower. Over 500 guests noshed on light bites supplied from Hard Rock Café, Ray’s In the City, Soul Bar at Pal’s Lounge and Sway at the Hyatt Regency at the annual Peachtree Center Business Bites on Wednesday, July 20. Later that evening in the lobby of 191 Peachtree Tower, over 350 attendees sampled plates from Ray’s in the City, Hard Rock Café, White Oak Kitchen, Thrive, JP Atlanta, The Commerce Club and Max Lager’s Wood-Fired Grill and Brewery.
