Martin Luther King Jr. Day March & Rally
When: Monday, January 18, 2010, march begins at 12noon
Where: Downtown Streets, King Center
Estimated Attendance: 2,000
March Route: The March starts at Peachtree and Baker St., goes south down Peachtree St., turns left on Auburn Ave., continues on until it reaches the staging area for the rally (next to the King Center).
 


International Poultry & Feed Expo
When: January 27-29, 2010
Where: Georgia World Congress Center
Estimated Attendance: 23,000
 


World Of Wheels
When: January 29-31, 2010
Where: Georgia World Congress Center
Estimated Attendance: 25,000
 


Honda Battle of the Bands
When: January 30, 2010

Temporary Street Closures

Fairlie Street, NW between Poplar Street and Walton Street has been extended until March 28, 2010

January 18, 2010: Poplar Street, NW between Cone Street and Fairlie Street will be closed

January 20, 2010: Ellis Street, NW between Peachtree Street and Carnegie Way will be closed

Dow Live Earth Run for Water The Dow Live Earth Run for Water consists of a series of 6 km run/walks (the average distance many women and children walk every day to secure water) taking place over the course of 24 hours in countries around the world.

Valentine's Day in the Downtown Dining District Spend your Valentine's Day in the "heart" of the Downtown Dining District. Many of our restaurants are assisting Cupid by featuring romantic dinners and offering special prix fixe menus.
