About the Downtown TMA

The Downtown TMA provides FREE assistance to Downtown employers who would like to implement transportation solutions at their companies. After an on-site analysis of your work-site, we will develop a customized strategy to meet the transportation needs of both the employer and employees.

A few program benefits are:

Attract and Retain the Best Employees. Longer commutes make it harder to recruit and retain employees. Stress and time lost in traffic can cut productivity and chip away at morale. Stress-related health problems can increase absenteeism and push health care costs through the roof. Our free financial incentives increase participation in commute options programs and create higher employee morale. We also offer free transportation fairs at work-sites to inform and excite employees of the many options available. Seminars, workshops, and Lunch & Learns are other means to share the wide variety of transportation-related services and events that benefit Downtown employees.

Reduce Parking Demand With a Customized Parking Management Strategy. The Downtown TMA will analyze data from our Parking Action Plan to discover ways that a specific employer can reduce parking demand. This service coupled with our programs, can cut direct costs on leased parking spaces and also reduce the need to build more parking spaces on employer-owned land.

Improve Community Relations. Your organization can receive public recognition for the positive effect these programs have in reducing congestion; improving air quality; and creating a vibrant, competitive economy in Atlanta.
