Teleworking

The Downtown TMA and the Clean Air Campaign are sources for employers looking to expand commuting options within their offices. Consulting services and financial incentives can be provided to businesses launching or expanding their teleworking programs.

One of the many programs offered to employers Downtown is the Telework Leadership Initiative. This incentive program, initially launched in October 2003, provides up to $20,000 in professional consulting services and cash reimbursement for participants to start or significantly expand a telework program. The first TLI program was highly successful, creating or training more than 2,300 new teleworkers in the region to date, with many of those programs still expanding.
