The 2009 Atlanta Downtown Design Excellence Award recognizes newly created Downtown spaces that demonstrate excellence in design. The award ceremony took place at the 2009 Downtown Development Day on November 10th at AmericasMart. CAP received an impressive 21 nominations this year, and the ADDEA judges evaluated these entries at site visits. The public provided the fifth vote in this process by voting online for its favorites. A staggering 15,400 votes were cast for these nominees. Congratulations to our esteemed winners:
