Downtown Travel Survey
The results from the 2014 Downtown Travel Survey of workers and students are here. Not surprisingly, the survey results reflect Downtown's supreme transit accessibility and walkable streets, with 46 percent of respondents indicating they do NOT drive alone to work, and instead utilize one of Downtown's various travel options, including bus, rail, cycling and walking. The prevalence of alternative travel modes in Downtown is a standout within the metro Atlanta area. The online survey was designed to obtain information regarding how individuals travel to and from Downtown and what things would encourage them to use more alternative travel modes.
