Taste of Atlanta celebrates its Sweet 16th year in Atlanta this weekend by bringing Atlanta’s finest culinary talents to a new festival location: Historic Fourth Ward Park.
If attending the event, you’ll be able to experience Atlanta’s robust and exciting food scene, which includes the following Downtown restaurants you won’t want to miss:
AG at The Ritz-Carlton: A Sunday grand Tasting Experience that includes crab tortellini, lobster sauce, and green apple and celery salad.
FYI: Did you know that AG’s cocktail menu includes seven types of ice, from spheres to perfect cubes?
Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken: On both Saturday and Sunday, Gus’s will be serving up chicken tenders, legs, and wings. Tastes like chicken, huh?
TIP: Stop by Gus’s at Peachtree Center during lunch or dinner to pair your chicken with some amazing sides, like baked beans, slaw, and fried okra.
Max Lager’s: On both Saturday and Sunday you can try Max’s firecracker wings, BBQ shrimp and grits, and fried cheesecake – aka, new twists on Southern classics.
TIP: Hold your next Happy Hour at Max’s to try one of their many house-brewed beers.
NaanStop: This Broad Street favorite will be serving samosas, rice bowls, and mango lassis all weekend.
TIP: If you can’t make the festival, stop by for lunch one day! This place is always bustling around noon, and for good reason.
Trader Vic’s: You’ll love the smoked lomi salmon and kung pao beef they’ll be slinging both days.
FYI: Trader Vic’s famous Mai Tai is only $6 every Thursday night.
