#BeDowntown for These Weekend Events: August 5-7

1. August Atlanta Apparel and World of Prom, AmericasMart

2. Schlagerparty, Der Biergarten

It's time for another schlagerparty! Dance all night to fun German "Schlagermusik" mixed by our live DJ and win prizes for best costume! Join us for beer specials and a German good time on August 6. Did we mention that we will be giving away a ticket to Germany that night (must be present to win)? ‪#‎Schlagerparty

3. Praise in the Park, Centennial Olympic Park

Park, the largest FREE outdoor inspirational music concert in the country taking place Saturday August 6, 2016 at Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. This year’s star studded line up will include Brian Courtney Wilson, Casey J, Jekalyn Carr, Briana Babineaux, Canton Jones, Deon Kipping, Myron Butler, Vashawn Mitchell, Todd Delaney and Uncle Reece! Plus special guests Klarkent, Christon Gray and Bryan Andrew Wilson and from the Real Preachers of Atlanta Real Talk Kim! The event is free to the public and we encourage families and other social groups to make plans to join us. There will be vendors, an artist market showcase and food available for purchase.

4. Museums On Us Weekend, the Center for Civil and Human Rights

The Museums on Us program allows Bank of America cardholders one free general admission to the Center for Civil and Human Rights during the first full weekend of each month. Simply present your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card with a photo ID to receive free general admission to The Center during the first Saturday and Sunday of the month!

5. Closing: A Midsummer Night's Dream, New American Shakespeare Tavern

Audiences just can’t get enough of this fairy-filled romp through the woods! With the comedic stylings of some of ASC’s best clowning actors, this production is sure to please children of all ages. Directed by Matt Felten. Sunday's closing show begins at 6:30 p.m.
