  1. An Evening with Kenneth B. Morris, Center for Civil and Human Rights.

Kenneth B. Morris, Jr., the great, great, great grandson of Frederick Douglass, the great, great grandson of Booker T. Washington, and the president of the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives (FDFI), will speak on modern-day human trafficking and the legacy of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington at the Center for Civil and Human Rights this evening at 5:30 p.m. This free talk will be followed by a book signing.

  1. Atlanta Dream vs. Dallas Wings, Philips Arena

Cheer on Atlanta's WNBA team tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Philips Arena, easily accessible by public transit. An extra reason to cheer: two Dream players will compete in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio! #RWTD

  1. Chino y Nacho & Guaco Concert, The Tabernacle

This Latin Grammy Award winning Venezuelan reggaeton duo takes the stage tonight at 8:00 p.m. One of the first Venezuelan reggaeton labels to have gained international play, they are famous for doing reggaeton, as well as alternative, salsa, classic and reggae. A unique opportunity for Atlanta concert-goers.

  1. Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With the Wind Tour, Atlanta Movie Tours

You can spend 3 hours with Atlanta Movie Tours’ very own Margaret Mitchell as she shares the fascinating story of her life. Trace her footsteps and learn how the South’s most beloved novel was finally shared with the world. Vouchers for this tour will also gain you entry to the Road To Tara Museum in Jonesboro and the Marietta Gone With The Wind Museum, as well as re-entry to The Margaret Mitchell House at no extra charge. Thanks to their NightCrawlers program, Zoo Atlanta visitors can register to go “behind-the-scenes” after one of Atlanta’s beloved attractions closes up shop for the night. Even better: make a sleepover of it. Join the Zoo staff this weekend for an extra special edition of NightCrawlers that will celebrate the third birthday of twin pandas Mei Lun and Mei Huan.
