Skip the traffic and take the Streetcar to these special August events in the park:
Tuesdays, through August 16: free, open-to-all chess tournaments, hosted by the Georgia Chess Association, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Wednesdays, through August 10: free yoga in Woodruff Park, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Namaste the Downtown way.
Fridays in August: Party in the Park with DJ Mike Brown, 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Enjoy retro hits, dance competitions and more.
August 20: Leave your car at home and ride the Streetcar to the German Bierfest in Woodruff Park.
August 26-27: Take the Streetcar to the film screenings and musical performances at the Atlanta LGBT Film & Music Festival.
