About the Artists
GRITZ AND JELLY BUTTER: As one of the top cover bands in the Southeast, Gritz and Jelly Butter specializes in finger snaps, head nods, swaying hips, foot taps, and good vibes. A seamless mixture of soul, R&B, hip-hop, reggae, and class rock is the secret sauce behind this explosive trio of musicians. The live, rhythmic combination of drums, keyboard, and proper thumb page on bass awakes your soul to music that "sticks to your ribs" like the Southern breakfast entree, grits.
MELVIN MILLER: Melvin Miller's music mixes the perfect blend of funky pop-influenced grooves, soulful melodies, and traditional jazz artistry. His style takes you from the sound and phrasing of Miles Davis to Chris Botti’s mixed with a dynamic stage presence.
CAROL ALBERT: A multi-faceted, stylistically eclectic talent and true musical citizen of the world who has performed extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe, Carol Albert is currently enjoying a whirlwind of success and accolades in the smooth jazz genre with an array of Billboard charting singles. The classically trained pianist, composer, and producer has received an Emmy nomination for her acclaimed work composing for television and released a multitude of recordings whose vibes range from singer/songwriter to solo piano and new age.
