2012 ADDEA Submissions Open Thru Sept. 19

The 2012 Atlanta Downtown Design Excellence Award (ADDEA) application process is now open. This annual award, presented by Central Atlanta Progress and Atlanta Magazine, recognizes newly created and renovated Downtown spaces that demonstrate excellence in design in four categories: Hotel, Office, Bar/Restaurant/Retail and Community/Residential.  

All nominated projects must have been completed between September 1, 2011, and August 31, 2012 and be located within Downtown Atlanta.  The winners will be determined by a panel of judges, consisting of design and architecture professionals and scholars, as well as by the public through an online poll.  The awards will be presented on Nov. 7 at the 10th annual Downtown Development Day, an event that attracts approximately 600 development, business, hospitality, and community leaders.
