Following the Green Line plan’s completion, key property owner stakeholders within the study area agreed to serve as a Steering Committee to guide and encourage execution of plan recommendations. CAP/ADID continues as a catalyst and convener for the committee and has played a key role in advancing the conceptual documents with more detailed analysis.
Through the expressed commitment and involvement of key stakeholders, CAP/ADID funded and managed the first phase of an implementation strategy advancing the conceptual vision toward a detailed market-based development feasibility and constructability plan. The resulting strategy aims to encourage appropriate investment in the corridor while also achieving the core goals of the plan: a reconnected, highly accessible and commercially revitalized heart of Downtown Atlanta.
