Even when something's working just fine, a little freshening can't hurt. And with AG, the new steakhouse in the Ritz-Carlton Downtown, that's certainly the case. The restaurant formerly known as the Atlanta Grill has had a serious overhaul, with a reworking not just of its dishes, but also of its interiors and entire outlook. Executive chef Joshua Fryer has pushed the reimagined space to adopt a locally focused ethos, bringing ingredients from regional farms and presenting them in a slick steakhouse setting. You'll still find massive cuts of meats with classic sides and accouterments, but with a contemporary, thoughtfully New American approach to the rest of the menu.
