Signature and Visionary Projects

Bold, innovative, and imaginative, CAP/ADID devotes extensive amounts of time and resources to developing and shepherding initiatives that are expected to revolutionize the future of Downtown.

Downtown Atlanta Master Plan

The Downtown Atlanta Master Plan is the result of a year-long collaborative process that engaged more than 5,000 entrepreneurs, students, neighborhood leaders, and dreamers in answering the question: "What kind of place do you want Downtown to be?" The Plan offers a strategic blueprint for the next fifteen years. Learn more

The Stitch

"The Stitch" proposes to add millions of square feet of new real estate inventory by creating approximately 14 acres of new urban greenspace atop a new platform structure spanning a portion of the Downtown Connector. It is estimated that The Stitch could result in $1.1 to $3.1 billion in value creation, generate $21 to $58 million in new revenue, and increase the city's bonding capacity by $308 billion. Arts & Entertainment Atlanta

Arts & Entertainment Atlanta (A&E Atlanta) is a neighborhood activation and economic development project for Downtown Atlanta. A&E Atlanta fuses new outdoor media, local art, and advertising and funds cultural and public space programming in the city’s core. By creating light, vitality, and activity, A&E Atlanta authentically reflects the vibrancy of Atlanta as a whole. Learn more

Downtown Daffodil Project

The worldwide Daffodil Project aims to build a Living Holocaust Memorial by planting 1.5 million daffodils around the world to remember and represent the one and a half million children who died in Nazi-occupied Europe and bring awareness to those currently suffering human rights crises throughout the world. CAP/ADID contributes to the worldwide effort by creating a “ribbon of consciousness” between the Center for Civil and Human Rights and the King Center, with over 275,000 bulbs planted to date. Addressing Homelessness

We believe that a livable, vibrant, and economically robust Downtown must reflect our shared values, which means we take an active role in social issues and support our Downtown service organizations that serve those in need. Learn more
