Originally known as Central City Park in the 1970s, Woodruff Park was created through a generous donation from Robert W. Woodruff, former president of The Coca-Cola Company. Each year, more than 5 million people use Woodruff Park. The park’s programs bring additional people Downtown each week, and special events add 10,000 Downtown visitors annually.
