Atlanta Online Retailer Relocates Headquarters to Historic M. Rich Building

June 12, 2014 (Atlanta, GA) - After growing out of their original offices on Edgewood Avenue in Old Fourth Ward, Atlanta-based e-commerce startup has moved their headquarters to the M. Rich Building in south downtown. The move is symbolic as this cutting-edge, 21st century e-commerce company now resides in the turn of the 20th century building that revolutionized traditional retail.

“Having our headquarters in the converted department store that helped pioneer the shopping experience over 100 years ago is exciting and very motivating,” says CEO Rick Lockett. “Our website borrows many of the cues from the offline shopping experience, which was greatly shaped in this very location.” has worked a real world street metaphor into its site design and functionality, taking the best of the offline shopping experience and merging it with the convenience of online shopping. The layout of the website encourages the community to shop by brand, not product, the same way one would shop at a traditional brick and mortar store. This exposes consumers to a brand’s whole story and purpose, allowing them to have a greater understanding and appreciation for what they are about to buy.

Over the past few years, the M. Rich Building has attracted creative, tech, and entertainment-focused tenants such as Creative Loafing, C4 Atlanta, Carl Anthony Payne Entertainment, and now "At M.
