The Clean Air Campaign Gives 2011 PACE Award

Congratulations to Booz Allen Hamilton, recipient of the Clean Air Campaign’s 2011 PACE Award for Best Overall Program: Small Business. The PACE Awards is a yearly awards ceremony in which the Clean Air Campaign highlights companies across the region who have gone above and beyond with their employee and/or tenant commute options program.

Booz Allen Hamilton is one of several companies throughout the region receiving a PACE Award for their outstanding efforts to provide education and programs which ease the commute of its employees. Booz Allen Hamilton has worked with the Downtown Transportation Management Association since 2003 to offer carpool, vanpool, transit, telework, pedestrian and cycling resources to its 180 Atlanta-based employees. Among other notable efforts, Booz Allen Hamilton provides a full transit subsidy as well as a partial monthly subsidy for carpoolers and vanpoolers.

Cooper Carry and Alexander Gallo Holdings also received mention as finalists for PACE Awards in the categories of Best Overall Program and Most Innovative Program. Congratulations to all of the Downtown PACE Awards participants!
