ATLANTA – If you can’t stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen and make your way to Downtown Atlanta! Beginning today, Monday, July 26, the highly anticipated Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week is finally underway and will continue through Sunday, August 8. For two delectable weeks, the most incredible restaurants in Atlanta’s Downtown Dining District will feature amazing three-course meals for a price that just can’t be beat.

With 27 restaurants participating in this year’s event, there is something to please everyone’s inner foodie. No matter what type of cuisine or ambience you’re looking for, Atlanta’s Downtown Dining District has your cravings covered.  Now with two new restaurants added into the mix, Glenn’s Kitchen and Rise Sushi Lounge, the impressive participating restaurants offer the most unique and scrumptious food in Downtown Atlanta.

While sampling the finest food in Downtown Atlanta, there is no better accompaniment than this year’s Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week signature cocktail. The Bacardi® Torched Cherry Blossom, created by W Atlanta Downtown DRINKSHOP mixologist Erik Simpkins, is the perfect sweet match for any meal. Garnished with orange peel and cherry, this concoction will be available exclusively at participating restaurants in the Downtown Dining District.

Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week couldn’t be an easier or more fun way to explore all of the mouth watering dishes that the Downtown Dining District has to offer. Simply make a reservation at any of the participating restaurants and indulge in some of Downtown Atlanta’s most spectacular food. Each three-course meal includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Beverages, tax and gratuities are not included in the price of the meal.

The following restaurants will offer three-course meals for $25:  Avanzare Steakhouse, French American Brasserie, Glenn’s Kitchen, Legal Sea Foods, Max Lager’s American Grill & Brewery, Meehan’s Public House, No! Mas Cantina, Paschal’s Atlanta Downtown, Pittypat’s Porch, ROOM, Rise Sushi Lounge, Sear, Spoon, STATS, Terrace on Peachtree, Trader Vic’s and Truva. $35 options will also be available at Atlanta Grill, BLT Steak, Durango Steakhouse, Il Mulino, Ray’s in the City, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Sun Dial Restaurant. Three restaurants, Social Resto Café Bar, Thrive and Peasant Bistro will be offering options for both $25 and $35.
