Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week, one of the most anticipated culinary events in the city, is back and better than ever! The two-week event will begin Monday, July 26 and continue through Sunday, August 8 and features amazing three-course meals at some of the hottest restaurants in Atlanta’s Downtown Dining District. Menus for Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week are now available online.

“We are really looking forward to the upcoming Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week,” said Wilma Sothern, Vice President of Marketing for Central Atlanta Progress, Inc. “Twenty-six restaurants will be participating and each has something unique to offer the diner. The event will feature restaurants ranging from traditional steak houses and sea food restaurants to Irish Pubs and Mexican Cantinas, ensuring that there will be something for every palate.”

As always, this year’s Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week will feature a signature cocktail. Created by the W Atlanta Downtown’s DRINKSHOP, the 2010 cocktail will be unveiled at Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week’s PreVIEW Party being held on June 9 and is sure to be a perfect compliment to any meal.

The best part of Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week is the ease of the event. There are no coupons, vouchers or any sort of ticket needed. Simply visit any participating restaurant during the two weeks and take advantage of the amazing discounts. Each of the three-course meals will feature an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Beverages, tax and gratuities are not included in the price of the meal.

The following restaurants will offer three-course meals for $25: 30 Tables, Avanzare Steakhouse, French American Brasserie, Legal Sea Foods, Max Lager’s American Grill & Brewery, Meehan’s Public House, No! Mas Cantina, Paschal’s Atlanta Downtown, Pittypat’s Porch, ROOM, Sear, Spoon, STATS, Terrace on Peachtree, Trader Vic’s and Truva. $35 options will also be available at Atlanta Grill ,BLT Steak, Durango Steakhouse, Il Mulino, Ray’s in the City, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Sun Dial Restaurant. Three restaurants, Social Resto Café Bar, Thrive and Peasant Bistro will be offering options for both $25 and $35.
