Downtown’s Peachtree Center already boasts the city’s largest mural, so what other artistic elements could the retail and office complex need?
How about another massive piece on top of one of its buildings?
In an extreme example of Atlanta’s highly visible affection for street art in recent years, Peachtree Center has again teamed with art-focused nonprofit Living Walls and International Corporate Art to add flair to a building on Peachtree Center Avenue, between John Portman and Andrew Young International boulevards.
The design is being painted by an enigmatic German street artist who goes only by 1010.
The piece 1010 is finishing above Peachtree Center Avenue will be visible from many of Peachtree Center’s office high-rises.
