Downtown Takes on Transportation Trivia

(ATLANTA, GA)- Spring is in the air and the Downtown Transportation Management Association (TMA) is encouraging Downtown’s commuters to get out and enjoy the sunshine, during the 2010 Transportation Trivia Scavenger Hunt! During the weeks of March 29th-April 9th scavenger hunt participants can visit the Downtown TMA’s website for daily clues and trivia questions. The first 500 participants will receive a goody bag and a pedometer. Daily prizes will be provided in partnership with the Downtown Cinnabon/Carvel. Participants who answer trivia questions correctly will be eligible for a grand prize drawing to be held on April 9th.

Who: The Downtown TMA is inviting Downtown’s commuters to put down their winter coats, pick up their sneakers and explore the city center.

: Register online for Commuter Rewards, www.logyourcommute.com/DowntownCommuters. New clues will be posted daily on the Downtown TMA website. Follow the clues to a Downtown TMA team member, and answer a trivia question. Log trivia answers on the Commuter Rewards website, and become eligible to win daily prizes, as well as the grand prize drawing to be held on April 9th!

The weather is great and makes it possible for more people to commute to nearby locations, on foot,” says Downtown TMA director Sally Haggard. “The Scavenger Hunt is designed to encourage Downtown’s commuters to lace up their sneakers and get out and see the city. Not only will they benefit themselves health-wise, but they’ll also discover parts of Downtown that they never knew existed.”
