Fifth Third Bank Opens First Downtown Location at Georgia-Pacific Center

Fifth Third Bank is proud to announce the opening of its first Downtown Atlanta banking center at 133 Peachtree St. NE (Lobby Level) at the Georgia-Pacific Center.  This new banking center was designed with a unique layout and accessibility to enhance customer privacy and minimize wait times by replacing teller lines with customer friendly kiosks.

To celebrate the grand opening, Randy Koporc, GA President joined Financial Center Manager Antwan Floyd and staff for a brief presentation and ribbon cutting June 11 at 11 a.m. with two check presentations to local community organizations.   A customer appreciation event will follow the week of July 9 that will include prizes, food and tickets give-aways, and unique customer-interaction entertainment presentations.   

The Georgia-Pacific Center opening represents Fifth Third Bank’s 28th location in Georgia. Dual entrances for Georgia-Pacific Center employees and Downtown pedestrians and reserved parking in two of the sheltered GPC parking decks enhance accessibility in this vibrant Downtown location.  Teller lines have been replaced with kiosks, designed to enhance the customer’s privacy while interacting with customer service representatives and minimize wait times.  Conversation rooms are available with customer internet banking stations that allow for private interaction between branch staff and customers.

The Banking Center, which is almost 5,000 square feet, offers complete banking services with four customer kiosks, a night depository, coin sorting machine, Western Union services and customer experience rooms for meeting with mortgage loan officers, business banking and investment specialists. The new location is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The advanced imaging street level ATM is located in a secure vestibule, accessible with any bank card 24/7.  Fifth Third’s generous ATM reimbursement policy will refund customers for “other” banks’ charges up to 10 times per statement cycle and never charges for using any ATM, anywhere in the United States.
