A stroll through downtown Atlanta could win you some prizes, including Atlanta United tickets.
The Central Atlanta Progress, a group aimed at enhancing downtown Atlanta, is holding a “Downtown Walk Challenge” beginning Monday to encourage people to walk more in the city.
The free 5-day challenge offers residents a chance to participate in a scavenger hunt and explore the city. The challenge lasts from May 13 to May 17.
“Our goal with the Walk Challenge is to highlight Downtown’s walkability and encourage people to incorporate walking into their daily downtown routine,” said Jen Farris, transportation outreach coordinator for Downtown Connects. The organization, which provides personalized route planning for commuters, partnered with Central Atlanta Progress on the challenge.
