Indie Craft Experience’s Holiday Shopping Spectacular Brings Good Tidings to Downtown

October 9,2014

The Indie Craft Experience (ICE) is gearing up for the holiday season with their wildly popular annual Holiday Shopping Spectacular set to take place the weekend before Thanksgiving, November 22 & 23, 2014 at an exciting new venue in downtown Atlanta called The Georgia Freight Depot, located at 65 Martin Luther King, Dr. SW, Atlanta, 30303. More than 150 vendors from across the country and 7,000 attendees will kick the holiday season off with unique art, beautifully crafted pieces and vintage keepsakes.

This Holiday Shopping Spectacular is particularly special as it hits its 10th year and follows two other huge ICE events: Summer ICE and Salvage. The curated vendor list presents only the most talented artists and crafters, so attendees can expect to cross everyone off their list before Thanksgiving.

As the largest and most renowned craft marketplace in the Southeast, attendees can anticipate an array of décor, furniture, apparel, jewelry and so much more. Attendees will find the perfect vintage dress for their sister and a beautifully crafted wall clock for mom and dad, all while scoring that bead and bone necklace they’ve been eyeing since Summer ICE.

ICE co-owners Christy Petterson and Shannon Mulkey have a polished eye for hand selecting talented artists to create an experience like none other. “The holidays can be stressful, which is why we love getting people excited about the fun things the season brings through the Holiday Shopping Spectacular,” said Christy Petterson. “The marketplace is bigger and better than ever – keep your eye on our new vendors!”
Guests can enjoy Atlanta-based DJ Zano spinning records while they sip on holiday inspired cocktails. The ICE Swag Bag tradition continues as the first 250 guests each day will score coveted totes overflowing with handmade goodies. Awesome local Atlanta food options will be on site to keep bellies full and happy.
