Party in the Park and Plan a Day in Downtown

Centennial Olympic Park continues to make music Downtown with the addition of a new one‐day concert, Party in the Park on Saturday, May 19!

“As an attraction located in the heart of Atlanta we recognize the importance of showcasing the city’s influential music scene to residents and tourists,” says Joe Skopitz, Assistant General Manager at Centennial Olympic Park. “Our goal is to encourage the community to support live entertainment in Downtown Atlanta, raise awareness about other park events and to provide financial support for this iconic venue.”

The line-up includes: The Flaming Lips, Young the Giant, AWOLNATION, Dawes and Ponderosa. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the gate, and available online at Make a day of it in Downtown Atlanta by checking some of the great eateries – from fast casual to fine dining – in the city center:

Gates open at 3pm with live music until 11pm. Tickets are valid for admission with no re-entry; rain or shine event. Patrons may bring blankets and one unopened bottle of water. For the safety of everyone, no pets, bags, coolers, bottles, picnics, recording devices, bikes or alcoholic beverages may be brought to the Park during Party in the Park.
